Being open to new ideas

Hi all,
Being open to new ideas can be a tough life lesson for me. I like things my way. I like people to agree with me, not me having to change my perspective.
Have you ever found yourself in that position. I did today. And, to gather support for my opinion, I asked a few people. Guess what, they agreed with the other person. Imagine that.
It still is hard but, you know what, I’m the one who loses by sticking to my way and not being open to new ideas and new views.
