He’s Perfect, BUT Married

Hello,
What do you do when you find the guy who appears to be everything you ever wanted. He meets everything you have put down on your wish list. GET EXCITED!!!!! Yes, I would.
Then, you find out he’s married. Promises to leave his wife, but doesn’t make any concrete moves in that direction. You are stuck wondering what to do - run like crazy or hang in there and be supportive.
My take is two pronged. First, be supportive of yourself forget about being supportive of him. He is responsible for himself.
But, you say, he’s perfect! NOT! is my answer. He is married.
Second, don’t run like crazy, it’s not dignified. Turn on your heels and make a direct line, do not stop, to the exit door.
If he really cares, he’ll get his act together and come and find you. Tell him NOT to come back until he is emotionally, physically, spiritually, and legally available.
Now, as for you, you are worth the best. You are a good woman with a good heart. You do NOT have to settle for waiting and hoping.
Get rid of the list! Why? Because you will never be able to think of all the contingencies and you’ll be left wondering what to do.
Love is not a head thing and it’s more than a heart thing. Marry your head and your heart and discover your irresistible definition of true love. Then, you’ll get the kind of love you deserve - the good kind, the loyal, honest, caring and loving kind of love that you DO deserve.
