Keep your eye on the prize… What does that really mean?
Most of us, when faced with a less-than-immediate process, have a tendency to let doubt, fear and uncertainty creep into our hearts. When these emotions creep into our hearts, they are actually circulating to every cell of our body. By keeping your eye on the prize, you goal, your vision, whatever you are seeking, what you are doing is keeping your mind, heart, and every cell in your body looking in the direction of certainty, assurance, recognition and hope.
Isn’t it better to have these safe harbor emotions flowing through your body rather than hurricane-driven fears.
