Speed Gazing to True Love?

By Coach Colleen | January 24, 2006

I just saw a new way for finding true love called speed gazing. It appears that what you do is go to a party and just look at another person for three minutes and move to the next one. Interesting….

I wonder if the guy who developed this is an introvert. Introverts process information internally. Extroverts, like me, process information by talking with others. Introverts are very often much less talkative than us extroverts.

Isn’t it funny that I ended up with an introvert? At times she says ‘Didn’t you already decide to do x. Why are you doing y?’ My response is that I was just discussing my options. At times this drives her crazy, but she still loves me.

Differences like this are easier to deal with when we understand that it’s just in the genes and don’t take the other’s behavior personally.
