True love’s gonna be like the patience of a lion

Patience is a hard virtue for me.
After watching lions in Africa the metaphor ‘Patient as a lion’ has new meaning for me. I saw lions seemingly lazing around in the midday sun while zebra and antelope (lion food) grazed not far away.
What was happening was that the lions were positioning themselves for the evening hunt of those very same zebra and antelope. The were patiently waiting by the game trail.
Funny thing was that they looked like they were enjoying themselves being patient. What a novel concept - enjoying patience.
My new motto - enjoy patience
